General information

The Federal Public Service Social Security defines secondary prevention as the phase in which signs of a mental disorder are present and there is a need for support. As the saying goes 'Numbers tell the tale', POBOS provides two validated scans free of charge that make it possible to better map out the possible need for support. The 'POBOS Trauma Scan' and the 'POBOS Burnout Scan' are two accessible tools that indicate whether and to what extent professional help is needed. By gaining a better understanding of the psychosocial problem that one is facing, damage can be prevented in many cases.

POBOS Trauma Scan

With this 'self-scan', based on the 'Impact of event scale-revised (IES-R)', you can find out to what extent your personal emotional state has changed since the shocking event in which you were involved and/or whether you may still need additional professional help. Click here to go directly to the short questionnaire. You can complete the questionnaire as many times as you wish. If necessary, print the completed questionnaire and take it with you to your next appointment with the professional counsellor who is assisting you.

You can also read everything again in the leaflet about the POBOS Trauma Scan.

POBOS Burnout Scan

With this 'self-scan', developed by neuropsychologist Michael Portzky upon request on POBOS, you can find out to what extent you, despite personal efforts and/or professional guidance, still show possible signs of burnout. Click here to go directly to the short questionnaire. You can fill in the questionnaire as many times as you like. If necessary, print the completed questionnaire and take it with you to your next appointment with the professional counsellor who is counselling you.

You can also read everything again in the leaflet about the POBOS Burnout Scan.
